  • In standard sorghum-sudan grass types, animal digestibility is around 45-50%, while in BMR types it reaches 80-85%. This means animals benefit from the crop much more efficiently, providing almost twice the feeding value.
  • Compared with standard types, Hay Buster BMR offers stronger lodging resistance, broad leaves and vigorous tillering.
  • Higher sugar content, juicy growth and high forage yield make it a palatable, nutritious annual crop that supports meat and milk production.
  • Recommended for dairy and beef cattle, sheep, goats and similar livestock, the crop can be fed as green forage or silage.
  • Regrowth continues after cutting, allowing several cuttings per season.
  • The first cutting should be made when plant height reaches 100-120 cm.
  • A 15 cm cutting height protects the plant's growing point and supports strong regrowth.
  • Following cuttings are also recommended at 100-120 cm; depending on climate and soil conditions, this usually means every 25-35 days.
  • For silage, the ideal harvest stage is around 150 cm plant height.
  • Under suitable conditions, 3-5 cuttings can be obtained in one season.
